The Coronation Sword

The Coronation Sword is the most modern and least ornamental of the coronation relics; it replaced an earlier coronation sword, but little else is known about it. It appeared sometime before the 1700s, but it is not known when exactly. The blade shows much wear, showing that it was used in battle. It today is displayed alongside the other relics in the Parliament.
